Shivaji University Project Completion Summary

Project title:

"Supply, Installation, Testing, Commissioning of complete ventilation system and its comprehensive maintenance contract for the period of five years at Lok-Kala Kendra” of Shivaji University, Kolhapur.

Description:

As a HVLS fan product introduction call we approached Shivaji University and we get to know that they are looking for a permanent and advance ventilation system with lower power consummation for their convocation hall.

“Lok-kala Kendra” hall, is a multipurpose hall, several activities attends throughout the year, and every time university management needed to bring rental ventilation system, which were not convenient in terms of rate and power consumption, therefore, they were looking for a permanent solution.

Project Purpose:

To fulfill the complete ventilation requirement of “Lok-Kala Kendra” hall.

Below are the steps we followed for the project completion:

Site Survey:

Along with technical team from principal company, we did a site survey to take actual dimensions.

Site Observation :

Fan suspension point was round MS bar, we needed to do another U-bolt type arrangement to hang the fan regarding its weight and model.

For Mist fan water source should be at a height, we needed a fabricated structure to place water tank at a height. To install Mist fan on a column without any permanent joint was a challenge, we made special adjustable clamps that will able to adjust fan and to sustain its weight when it is full of water and in an operation.

Presentation:

In front of University’s technical committee, we gave a presentation regarding project implementation and its relative performance after completion. After clearing all he doubts, technical committee get carry with our presentation and gave approval for an online Tender

Online Tender Submission :

As per the rules and criteria, we submitted the tender

Actual Project Execution :

As per the tender specification we installed total six HVLS fans (two-24’ and Four- 12’) and eight mist fans. All the relative electric, fabrication, and plumbing work was in Technomet scope. We completed the project before given time slot with all tender specifications.
